What always surprises me is that often simple solutions can facilitate profound changes.
I often say to my Alexander Technique students that you do not have to make a 180 degree turn to change your situation. All you have to do is move the needle one iota to set off on a different trajectory.
Lao Tzu‘s said, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.”
Small steps can bring about big results. Yes the possibility only exists when you commit to the first step and then you must commit to all the other consecutive steps to make that journey.
I have created for you a video teaching the Alexander Technique Whispered Ah.
I’m teaching you the Whispered Ah because it is a great way to release excessive muscular tension, promote calm and serenity, improve breathing, and bring about a more resonant voice.
It is simple yet profoundly effective.
I want you to watch the video below, and then I want you to commit to yourself that you will create a breathing practice.
This is the key- you must commit to yourself to practice what you learn. Knowledge without application has no meaning.
Self-care is health care.
Commit to breathing in this way 2-3 times a day. The practice will take about 1 minute and set you up for a calmer more resilient day.

Earlier this summer I created another video and audio where I taught the Alexander Technique Lie Down. I titled this Covid Stress Buster #1. The AT Lie Down Instruction link is below.
Use the Whispered Ah, as well as the AT Lie Down, as ways to create a more resilient you!
